Career Design for the Senior Years

Some of the new thinking seems to be that businesspeople who have been on a career path from their 20s to their late 50s will need a completely different set of working skills for their senior careers after retirement. In fact, if your career goal is to focus on the ability to work in your 70s, what kind of working skills do you want to acquire between your 20s and 50s? In career design, it is important to have social insight as well as the ability to think about what you want to be and how you want to be. We are no longer living in an age where a person can enter a company as a new graduate and continue to work there until retirement, so we need to think about our own future.
